Anidragons Now Available on Amazon

Teknik Digital Arts teams with Aladdin Knowledge Systems to bring Anidragon virtual pet screensaver to Amazon.com

NEWPORT BEACH, California, November 7, 2003 -- Teknik Digital Arts announced today the execution of an agreement with Aladdin Knowledge Systems, Inc. of Arlington Heights, Illinois to electronically distribute Anidragon™.  Aladdin is the developer of Privilege™, an electronic software distribution and licensing system used by leading software retailers worldwide such as Amazon.com. 

The Privilege™ System allows customers to purchase and download encrypted software applications via the Internet.  This method of distribution will allow Anidragon customers immediate gratification, as they will enjoy the product within minutes of purchase.  At the same time, Teknik’s intellectual property will remain sage thanks to the High Level Encryption incorporated to discourage software piracy.  Anidragon will begin selling on the Amazon.com retail site in December 2003.

Anidragon consists of digitally rendered dragons that live on the PC desktop as screensavers. The 3D fantasy world uses day and night cycles, changing weather patterns, animal life, and panoramic landscapes as a backdrop for dragons existing as evolving digital creatures. They explore and learn, hunt, eat, play, sleep, and grow to adulthood.  At the heart of the product is the realistic animation created by veteran animator Corey Comstock , known for his role as lead animator on the feature film, Shrek.
