Dragons Come Alive in Teknik Digital Arts' New Release

Anidragon^TM Mixes Digital Pets and Screen Savers to Bring Mythological Creatures to the Desktop

NEWPORT BEACH , California , May 12, 2003 -- Teknik Digital Arts announced today the release of Anidragon, digitally rendered dragons that live on the PC desktop as screensavers. The 3D fantasy world uses day and night cycles, changing weather patterns, animal life, and panoramic landscapes as a backdrop for dragons existing as evolving digital creatures. 

At the heart of the product is the realistic animation created by veteran animator Corey Comstock, best known for his role as lead animator on the animated film Shrek. "Dragon's present complexities for an animator," said Mr. Comstock director of art and animation for Teknik. "The time and concentration involved in animating a quadruped with a long neck and tail are compounded by the addition of wings. Another design challenge is scale. The adult stands three times the size of the infant but has to interact comfortably within the same environment."
